Does it cost extra to use a travel agent?

Sometimes. If you are booking an existing package like a cruise or an all-inclusive resort with minimal add-ons, there is no additional fee charged by Vonnie R Travel. Once you start getting into more customized planning, it takes additional time that agents must be compensated for. We keep our prices dynamic to reflect the amount of work required and are upfront about costs and what they are going to. Multiple changes after booking may require additional fees on a case-by-case basis.

Our initial consultation is always free, and we are usually able to tell you if there will be a fee by the end of the first meeting.

How do we get started?

We understand not everyone prefers to communicate in the same way. For the initial consultation, options include:
· Filling out a ten-question form online, then a brief email exchange, phone, or video call.
· Approximately 30-minute-long phone or video call where agents will ask you the questions.
· Agents are available to meet in person in the Walworth County, Wisconsin area.

Before booking any travel, Vonnie R Travel will need to have a video call or in-person meeting with the cardholder to prevent fraud. All other communication may be done through phone, video call, or email.

Why is Travel Insurance important?

Cancellation protection ISNT the most important feature! (But it covers that too)

· Typical health insurance plans DO NOT offer coverage outside of the US- Especially prescription coverage. You often must pay the bill in full before you can leave the hospital or clinic. You may need to hire a private nurse or specialist, independent of the hospital, who will require payment upfront.
· Homeowners or similar pre-existing insurance coverage that offers travel protection are often additional purchases or supplemental policies that need to be added. Car insurance may not cover rental cars.
· Trip delays, missed flights, and personal items/baggage loss are basic bonus features included in many travel insurance policies.
